We have some computers with Windows 8 installed in a public library for the public to use. They are locked down tight with local GPO and is not in a domain since they need only Internet access. We have now switched to Windows 10 as OS on new computers and I was wondering if I could some how just copy the local GPO from the old Windows 8 computer so I did not have to run through all options and set the them again in order to lock the new computers down as tight due to security.

Some time back, I tried out a couple of themes before deciding that none of them suited me. I then uninstalled the themes and UXStyle but my control panel still looks semi-themed.. I would like to remove the highlights behind the options.
EDIT: I found out that other user profiles do not have this problem. However, I'd like to not change user profiles if possible..

I am having trouble getting RDP to work on my PC. I have checked everything. But I can RDP from my PC to my laptop.
I have on both laptops a password, (I do have the same username, could that conflict?) I have on both PC's the latest W10 update (10586) and I can ping both PC's to eachother. I have disabled my second network card on my PC but still nothing.

I have a program group that contains a bunch of shortcuts. Some are applications. Some are shortcut links to web pages or web-based control panels. The problem is that ever since I upgraded to Windows 10, searching doesn't find the web shortcuts.
For example, "Password Generator" is a desktop app and a shortcut to it appears in this program group. So I press the Windows key and type "pass" and "Password Generator" pops right up. "Avast Cloud" also appears in this program group, a shortcut for [URL] ....
But when I hit the Windows key and type "avast" I get nothing. I can click through the "All apps" menu and it's there, but search can't find it. I have rebuilt the index, of course. But this behavior is very consistent and applies to all shortcuts that go to a URL. It means I spend extra time hunting things in the menu rather than pulling them right up with search.

I am having a problem with games freezing on my windows 10 pc. The games that have been freezing are GTA 3, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas and Team Fortress 2. GTA V is working fine without any freezes. if i reboot my pc all games are working fine, the freezing usually happens when the pc have been on for a few hours and happens randomly. the games actually start but is really slow, i can skip the intro cutscenes but after that i cant do anything. I can Ctrl + Alt + Delete and close the games and the pc is working just fine its just the games that wont work.

When trying to save an image to my Pictures folder in Windows 10, I receive an error message that states I don't have permission to save in this location and that I should contact the administrator to obtain permission.
I'm the only user on this computer and I'm an administrator. What am I doing wrong? What settings do I need to change to allow me to save in this location? I can save files to other folders, but no the Pictures folder.

Are it and maximum processor state useful on a desktop, or is it just for laptops? Lower and Maximum are both set to 100% for me. I read that if I lower the minimum, my cpu doesn't reach the max overclock level.
